Both crown and bridge are fixed prosthetic devices, made to match the colour of your natural teeth, used for dental restoration of deteriorated, unhealthy or missing teeth.
A crown or cap covers the exposed surface of a tooth to strengthen it or improve its appearance.
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. It includes an artificial tooth or teeth which are fused to crowns on either side to provide support.
Crown and bridge are made of complete porcelain or zirconium, fused with metal crown. Zirconium crown/bridge lasts a lifetime while porcelain alternative might deteriorate as underlying metal gets corroded with time. We provide both options to our patients so that they can choose the one that suits their budget.

How long does a dental crown last?
With good oral hygiene, crowns can last a lifetime. A crown may become loose or fall out if the underlying tooth is damaged by gum disease or tooth decay.
Does the crown require special care?
While a crowned tooth does not require any special care, it is important to keep your gums and teeth healthy by brushing with fluoride toothpaste for two minutes twice a day and flossing daily. Also, remember that regular checkups and professional cleanings are just as necessary to make sure you maintain your optimum oral health.
